Remotely Urban is largely oriented around conversation regarding urban life. What makes cities tick — transportation, the built form, local government, these sorts of subjects are casually discussed.

If you are looking for a srs bsns blog, go find CivicCamp, CalgaryPolitics, or the like (no really, go check them out). This blog may occasionally go off on tangents and discuss things entirely at my… erm *cough* the author’s whim.

About the Author

Boris was born in Edmonton, AB. He grew up in Calgary and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from the University of Calgary in 2009. Currently, he is pursuing a postgraduate diploma at Nova Scotia Community College. He hopes to put his talents and passions to use in making our urban communities better, and perhaps to also go after that master’s degree he’s been mulling over.
